Total deposits from New Mexico banks reached $28.3B in 2014 — up 4.1 percent from 2013.

Wells Fargo N.A. saw its market share increase from 25.82 percent in 2013 to 27.52 percent in 2014. Wells Fargo also had the most local deposits, with $7.8B in 2014 — up from $6.9B in 2013. Wells Fargo has 95 branches in New Mexico and $1.44T in total assets.

The data comes from the Deposit Market Share Report by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., which includes deposits made at New Mexico branch offices July 1, 2013-June 30, 2014.
