The missions at a financial group, a construction company and a fuel cell manufacturer might differ, but employees at all three locations say their employers hit the same note when it comes to employee satisfaction.

Bouchey Financial Group in Troy, Turner Construction Company in Albany and Plug Power in Latham were among the thirty companies selected as Albany Business Review's Best Places to Work in 2014. Click the photo on this page to view a set list of the honorees.

The companies are selected based on responses to survey from Quantum Workplace of Omaha, Nebraska, that asks about employees' trust with co-workers and senior leaders, manager effectiveness, feeling valued and individual contributions.

This is the eleventh year of the Best Places to Work event, which begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy.
