EPA Proposes Ozone Crackdown, Rankling Texas Officials
Over the objections of Texas officials, the Obama administration on Wednesday proposed a long-delayed rule to slash levels of ozone – a smog-forming pollutant known to worsen asthma, lung disease and heart conditions.
The regulation is the latest example of the federal Environmental Protection Agency's use of the Clean Air Act to crack down on the pollution wafting from factories, power plants and tailpipes.
"Bringing ozone pollution standards in line with the latest science will clean up our air, improve access to crucial air quality information and protect those most at risk,” Gina McCarthy, the EPA administrator, said in a ...

Don't worry, Abbott will sue! And, of course, Obama will laugh his head off as our politicians are about as scary to Obama as the dark is to a bat.

With all due respect, Commissioner Shaw wouldn't know good science if it came up, bit him on the arse, lectured him for an hour, took him out to dinner, and sent him home in a cab.

There'll be hell to pay for Abbott's and Perry's and Cruz's badmouthing and attempts to shut down the government. I hope the feds stick it to the Texas government at every occasion.

Remember when they told us not to use aerosols because they depleted the ozone?? Do you think they'll ever get their stories straight before they force regulations down our throats?? #pipedream

Texans need to be free to choke to death on poisoned air! Keep fighting the War Against Federal Alien Negro Aggression Greg (but please don't waste my money on it).

I wonder where distorted facts occur. For instance I wonder if increased asthma is result of increased population and/or food allergies. I am concerned that this is totally a fabrication based on politics. That is the OBAMA way of reducing quality of life for american people.
