Save America’s Boundary Waters Wilderness

The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness covers over one million acres of untamed natural beauty in northern Minnesota. This vast expanse of woods and water is virtually untouched since the glaciers melted and created over a thousand crystal-clear lakes.

Renowned for its canoeing and fishing, it is the most visited wilderness area in the United States and the backbone of the region’s economy, where tourism supports 18,000 jobs and $800 million in annual sales.

Now this amazing ecosystem is at risk from sulfide mining, a particularly risky type of mining that’s never been permitted in Minnesota before.

Show your support for protecting this national treasure for our children and grandchildren.

Add your name to the petition that will be delivered by Dave and Amy Freeman, who are paddling 2,000 miles to DC to deliver the canoe, and message, to the White House on December 3rd!

TAKE ACTION: Celebrate and protect the Boundary Waters Wilderness! Sign the petition!
