Tailwagger: Meet Katie Sue

Katie Sue is a three-year-old Labrador mix that loves everyone she meets, but would prefer to find a new home with children who are seven or older. She's been with the SPCA of Texas since November 6 when she was surrendered by her owner.

Katie Sue is very smart and loyal, gets along well with other dogs, and loves going on walks. She's a sweet girl who loves to cuddle.

Interested? You can meet Katie Sue or any of the other dogs and cats available for adoption at the SPCA's Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in West Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Drive starting at noon Saturday.

The SPCA of Texas began its annual Adoption Pavilion event at NorthPark Center on Friday. It's a temporary home for hundreds of adoptable dogs and cats who are hoping for forever families this holiday season. through December 23. The Adoption Pavilion is open from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday through Friday, and from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturdays. It's located in the main entrance hallway between Macy's and Dillard's, next to Victoria's Secret and near Santa Claus.
