Ray Rice can now play football again if any team will take him.

And he and his wife, Janay are now talking about his attack on her in an elevator in Atlantic City in February.

Janay Rice told the Today Show's Matt Lauer, "I was furious we came home and we didn't talk the entire ride, well I didn't speak to him."

The initial trouble for the football star started when a video surfaced in June of Rice dragging his then fiancé, Janay out of the elevator.

Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended him for 2 games.

That infuriated Domestic Violence advocates and many female fans.

Ray Rice is eligible to play in the NFL after being reinstated by an arbitrator. Rebecca Lopez has more.

But it was the second video that showed Rice punching Janay that led to widespread public outcry and forced Commissioner Goodell to take stronger action.

He suspended Rice indefinitely.

Rice and the NFL Players Association argued he was punished twice for the same offense and should be reinstated.

NFL officials argued they hadn't seen the tape--- therefore it was new evidence and Rice didn't tell them everything.

Judge Barbara Jones listened to the evidence from both sides and over turned the indefinite suspension stating:

".... after careful consideration of all the evidence, I am not persuaded that Rice lied to or misled the NFL at his June interview."

Ray Rice issued a statement saying, "I made an inexcusable mistake."

Janay Rice did her first on camera interview and talked about how she felt after she was knocked unconscious.

"I just knew he hit me and I was completely over it. I was done. I didn't want to hear anything."

But she says she also knew she was not going to walk away and married him.

"Of course in the back of my mind and in my heart I knew our relationship wouldn't be over because I know that this isn't us and it's not him."

She also told ESPN recently, Rice had never hit her before.

Janay's friends have come to her defense saying after the incident the couple was getting counseling and working on their marriage.

Mioshi Johnson says,"We was them getting the help."

Rice wants another chance, it remains to be seen if NFL owners will take a risk and risk alienating fans.
