HOUSTON – Scattered showers are possible Friday afternoon through Saturday making for a warm, humid start to the weekend.
According to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner, there is a 40 percent chance of rain this afternoon with temperatures peaking in the upper-70s.
Expect a warm evening along with lingering showers Friday night.
The chance for rain continues Saturday as a cold front makes its way through the Houston area in the afternoon.
There may still be some showers hanging around Sunday morning, but most should clear out by the afternoon.
We could see some pretty nice weather come early next week.
