I purchased a promotion for a Saturday/Sunday paper for the coupons that was supposed to begin July 12. After 8 phone ca...lls and complaints I still have yet to receive ONE paper. I keep getting assurances that oh yes your paper will be delivered in an hour, or tomorrow,or next week. BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. I am filing an official complaint and requesting a refund ASAP. We just moved to the state and if this is the kind of service they offer I am surprised they are still in business.See More
If I could write a negative 1 star rating I would. I cannot believe that I have been paying for 7 day delivery of Sun pa...per and 2 day delivery of the Maryland Gazette since September 26 and I have now missed delivery of 12 papers. What is even worse than that is that I have had to call in 4 times and go through all of the prompts to report missing papers that I have discovered before customer service closes for the day , on 10/6 , 10/11, 10/14, 10/27 I have been promised re-delivery each time and have never received a redelivery. I have asked to speak with the district manager for this region whom I am told is named Orel Levey. Was promised a call back within 48 hours (4 different times), have never received a call back. The last two times I called I explained my frustration and was assured that the request had been escalated. In fact when I called yesterday I let them know that if I did not receive a call back I will go to the news media, as well as cancel the papers. I was told to rest assured that I will receive a call this morning. I did not receive a call this morning. The reason that I have considered going to the news media is to report the fact that my elderly mother ( living with me) and who has dementia has only one activity everyday, and that is that she reads the paper. So when a paper is not delivered and I do not receive a redelivery. I need to go to the store to buy a paper at face value. However, this is not possible during the week as I work from home and not able to leave. How hard can it be to deliver a Sun paper 7 days a week, and two days a week for the Gazette? How hard can it be to correct the delivery problem once you have been notified of it 4 times? Is it too much to ask to have a district manager call me back? Yes, the newspaper in print will soon be a thing of the past. But reading online is not an option for the elderly who are not familiar with technology.See More
