#Pointergate Protest Planned Before Stanley Hubbard's Speech at Augsburg Tonight

Still mad about Pointergate? Head down to Augsburg tonight.

The public outcry over KSTP's unwillingness to apologize for Pointergate still hasn't died down.

Augsburg students are planning a protest before Stanley Hubbard's scheduled speech on campus tonight.

Hubbard is the chairman and founder of Hubbard Broadcasting, which owns KSTP. His speech was scheduled as part of an ongoing executive speaker series sponsored by the Augsburg Alumni Association.

In response to a request for comment, Augsburg news director Stephanie Weiss issued a statement this morning posted on Augsburg's website.

Protesters are meeting at 4:15 p.m. outside of Anderson Music Hall. Tickets for the speech are sold out and Augsburg took down the event's page on the school website.
