The US is transporting an Ebola victim to Nebraska this weekend.
The surgeon, a Sierra Leone national, is married to a US citizen and has children. CNN reported:
A surgeon who’s a Sierra Leone national and a legal permanent resident of the United States will be transported from Sierra Leone to The Nebraska Medical Center for treatment for Ebola, a government official familiar with the situation said.
The doctor is expected to arrive this weekend, most likely Saturday, the official said.
The official said it’s not known whether the doctor was working in an Ebola treatment unit or some other type of hospital. The surgeon is married to a U.S. citizen and has children, the official said.
The surgeon will be the 10th Ebola patient on American soil. KTIV reported:
Doctors are about to treat their 10th Ebola patient on American soil. A Sierra Leonean surgeon, with U.S. residency, will be flown to Nebraska Medical Center, in Omaha, on Saturday.
A federal official with knowledge of the case said the patient would arrive from Sierra Leone, one of the West African nations grappling with the Ebola outbreak. The patient is a male surgeon, a Sierra Leone national and a permanent American resident who tested positive for the virus on Monday.
The Obamacare brawl took place this afternoon on MSNBC.
Schultz lost it. Mediaite reported on the throwdown.
Very rarely do we get to witness Ed Schultz raise his voice at anyone but the camera. On Thursday afternoon, MSNBC audience was treated to a spirited debate between Big Ed and TheBlaze TV host Dana Loesch.
The ideological polar opposites teased the possibility of an on-air battle Wednesday evening, when Loesch bashed the MSNBC host for criticizing her boss Glenn Beck for his take on health care policy. They eventually spoke by phone and agreed to air their grievances on cable news.
The results: Lots of finger-pointing, heated crosstalk, the host accusing the guest of being “rude,” etc., etc. See it to believe it.
Best Line: Dana tells Ed Schultz: “I’m doing you a favor for coming on this interview.”

Earlier today Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters on Thursday she had no idea who Jonathan Gruber was. Gruber, an Obamacare architect, admitted in video released this week that Democrats repeatedly lied to “stupid” Americans to pass the law.
Unfortunately, video was discovered of Nancy Pelosi mentioning Jonathan Gruber during a press conference.
Tonight Charles Krauthammer weighed in on the controversy. He offered the Minority Leader this advice:
“She cited him and now she claims she’s never heard of him. The moral of the story is if you’re going to tell a lie on camera make sure there isn’t a video that directly contradicts what you said coming out of your own mouth.“

Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber and his Obamacare comic book for stupid Americans.
On June 13, 2012, Obamacare Jonathan Gruber was interviewed by Frontline. He told them that the Cadillac tax issue was addressed in 2009. Obama knew it was going to be a problem, and they all agreed to lie about it.
What Jonathan Gruber is taking heat for right now, was planned out specifically with Barack Obama. It wasn’t just him. It was all of them, with Obama in the room taking part.
The next time I see him is summer 2009. The big issue there is that he really wants to make sure I’m moving forward on cost control. I think that at this point he sort of knew we had a good plan on coverage, but he was worried on cost control. So we had a meeting in the Oval Office with several experts, including myself, on what can we do to get credible savings on cost control that the Congressional Budget Office would recognize and score as savings in this law.
And that was a meeting — it was very exciting, once again, because the economists in the room all said the number one thing you need to do is you need to take on the tax subsidy to employer-sponsored insurance. We need one minute of background on this. The way employer-sponsored insurance works is, if you get paid in wages, you get taxed. If you get paid in health insurance, you do not. …
So this tax subsidy economists have been railing against for decades, it’s super-expensive. We forego about $250 billion per year in tax revenues. It’s regressive — the richer you are, the bigger tax break you get. And it’s inefficient because it causes people to buy excessive health insurance. So everyone in the room said, “You want something that is real cost control that we know it will work, go after this.”
Now, the problem is, it’s a political nightmare, … and people say, “No, you can’t tax my benefits.” So what we did a lot in that room was talk about, well, how could we make this work? And Obama was like, “Well, you know” — I mean, he is really a realistic guy. He is like, “Look, I can’t just do this.” He said: “It is just not going to happen politically. The bill will not pass. How do we manage to get there through phases and other things?” And we talked about it. And he was just very interested in that topic.
Once again, that ultimately became the genesis of what is called the Cadillac tax in the health care bill, which I think is one of the most important and bravest parts of the health care law and doesn’t get nearly enough credit. I mean, this is the first time after years and years of urging — and the entire health policy, there was not one single health expert in America who is setting up a system from scratch, would have this employer subsidy in place. Not one.
So after years and years of us wanting to get rid of this, to finally go after it was just such a huge victory for health policy. And I’m just incredibly proud that he and the others who supported this law were willing to do it. …
UPDATE: WHITE HOUSE DENIES GRUBER, WHITE HOUSE LOGS PROVE GRUBER WAS TELLING TRUTH
“The next time I see him is summer 2009. The big issue there is that he really wants to make sure I’m moving forward on cost control. I think that at this point he sort of knew we had a good plan on coverage, but he was worried on cost control. So we had a meeting in the Oval Office with several experts, including myself, on what can we do to get credible savings on cost control that the Congressional Budget Office would recognize and score as savings in this law.”
Was Gruber lying? Was he in the Oval Office with the President in the summer of 2009, talking about how to game the CBO numbers?
He was. On July 20, 2009, Jonathan Gruber meets with POTUS in the West Wing. He was there almost four hours.
Obama was at the center of this deception. He specifically ordered Gruber and other “healthcare experts” to find ways to game the CBO numbers so that the bill would pass. In his gleeful showboating over passing the bill, Jonathan Gruber has clearly identified President Obama as the source of the lie behind the Cadillac Tax. The story is no longer about Jonathan Gruber. It’s about the deliberate lie the President used to pass this monstrosity of a healthcare law.

Holder Built This…
Looks like the Ferguson activists can’t figure out what civility and decorum look like.
Tweets yesterday said the activists walked out while others were speaking.
The Ferguson activists are in Geneva, Switzerland testifying before the UN Human Rights Council on torture and abuse in America.
Yes, really.

What rubbish.
Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters on Thursday she had no idea who Jonathan Gruber was. Gruber, an Obamacare architect, admitted in video released this week that Democrats repeatedly lied to “stupid” Americans to pass the law.
Via Twitchy:
Pelosi on Gruber: "I don't know who he is. He didn't help write our bill."
UPDATE—— AND HERE IS PELOSI MENTIONING JONATHAN GRUBER BY NAME !! Hat Tip Dawn
Here’s the transcript— PELOSI: Let me just say this. Anything you need to know about the difference between the Democratic bill and the Republican bill is that the Republicans do not end the health insurance companies’ discrimination against people with preexisting conditions. They let that stand. That’s scandalous, the fact that it exists. I don’t understand why they have not heard the American people, who have said preexisting conditions should not be a source of discrimination.
And secondly, the Republican plan ensures about 3 million more people than now, and ours does 36 million people. So that’s a very big difference in that.
We’re not finished getting all of our reports back from CBO, but we’ll have a side by side to compare. But our bill brings down rates. I don’t know if you have seen Jonathan Gruber of MIT’s analysis of what the comparison is to the status quo versus what will happen in our bill for those who seek insurance within the exchange. And our bill takes down those costs, even some now, and much less preventing the upward spiral.

Charles Krauthammer weighed in on the recent videos of Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber admitting Democrats knowingly lied to the American public in order to pass Obamacare. Charles told Bill O’Reilly Democrats “lied about everything.”
“This is exactly what conservatives have been saying for four years. What we’re hearing now is the true voice of liberal arrogance. [T]hey believe they know the right way—they have to lead the masses to the Promised Land, and they can only do it by deception. And that’s what he said openly…[they] lied about everything.”

The White House finally responded to the several videos released this week of Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber admitting the administration lied to “stupid Americans” in order to get Obamacare passed. Gruber repeatedly admitted in public appearances that Democrats lied to the American public in order to pass Obamacare. Gruber also said Americans were too “stupid” to understand the law.
White House Spokesman Josh Earnest said Republicans were the real liars.
“I think it’s actually Republicans who haven’t been transparent or even honest about the true impact of this… It is Republicans who have been less than forthright and transparent about their proposed changes to the Affordable Care Act would do in terms of choices available to middle class families.”
Ah, it’s the old I know you’re a liar but what am I? defense. Outrageous.
From Day One Republicans have vowed to repeal Obamacare.
