Managing Hazardous Materials
Crud Cruiser Drop Off Events
The City of Southlake conducts two household hazardous waste drop-off days each year, typically one in the Spring and one in the Fall. Through a partnership with the Fort Worth Environmental Center, residents of Southlake may bring acceptable items to the mobile collection center to dispose of hazardous waste. The two scheduled events for 2014 are
April 19 and
October 18. For more information on the Crud Cruiser event, visit the Fort Worth Environmental Management
website, or call the City of Southlake at 817-748-8349.

In addition to the Crud-Cruiser event, residents may also drop off hazardous materials at the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center. Call the center at (817) 392-3279 for days and hours of operation. Southlake residents do not need a voucher to drop off household hazardous waste (HHW) but should take a current copy of their water bill to prove their residence in Southlake. This ensures that the collection center will charge the city (not you) for your participation.
