About the Streets Division
The Public Works Streets Division maintains all of Southlake's streets. This division is responsible for the maintenance of 15,554 square feet of concrete streets and 26,747 square yards of asphalt roads and streets. Activities include asphalt patching and resurfacing, crack sealing, pothole patching and grading of unpaved streets. The division addresses issues with roadside signage, street curb and gutter, street medians, traffic signals, sidewalks and weather related issues such as rain and snow.  

Street Maintenance & Repair
The division's street maintenance and repair are geared in part at maintaining or exceeding a Pavement Quality Index (PQI) of 7.8. This division also performs drainage system repairs and maintains bar ditches, culverts and channels to enhance stormwater flow, including 3,000 linear feet of ditches and 10,000 linear feet of creeks.
