Community Recreation Center

Project Details

The Southlake City Council's approval of a $1.72 million design contract puts Phase 1 designs of the long-awaited Community Recreation Center into action. On August 6, 2013, City Council members voted unanimously to approve a contract with Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture.

The Community Recreation Center has been in the Parks Master Plan Since 1996 and in the 2009 and 2011 Citizen Surveys the project was ranked a top priority.  The Community Recreation Center has been put into action as a two-phase project.

Construction on Phase I is scheduled to begin in August 2014.
