N. White Chapel Blvd. from Emerald St. to SH114

Project Information
This project will implement paving and drainage improvements to N. White Chapel Blvd. from Emerald St. north to SH114.
N. White Chapel Blvd. will be widened to its ultimate pavement section of a 4 lane divided highway with a median. The median along this section of N. White Chapel Blvd. will include landscaping and irrigation. The intersection of N. White Chapel Blvd. at Highland St. will be improved from a four-way stop sign intersection to a dual-lane roundabout to accommodate increased traffic along this corridor. A conceptual drawing of the dual-lane roundabout is illustrated in the slideshow above along with cross sections of the future roadway, landscaped median, striped bike lane and sidewalks.
