File an Accident or Police Report

Crime Reports
The Southlake Department of Public Safety has partnered with crimereports.com to provide citizens with a free web-based crime mapping program.  The interactive crime map allows users to search for and view reported crimes in their area or neighborhood. Simply type in an address in the search box, click search and the interactive map will pull up any crimes that have occurred in the area in the last 24 hours.

To begin using this program, navigate to the interactive map. For additional information please take a look at our Neighborhood Watch Program page.

Accident Reports
The City of Southlake's Department of Public Safety has entered into an agreement with PoliceReports.US to provide public online access for accident reports.  Please allow three to five business days from the time of the accident to access your report.  If the report you are looking for is unavailable and it has been five or more business days please contact DPS Records at (817)748-8359. Once posted online, accident reports will remain available via the internet for two years.

In order to purchase a report, the requestor must provide the following:

  • The report number; or
  • The last name of someone involved in the accident; and
  • The date of the accident

Once the required information is entered, the report may be purchased using a major credit card and then printed. The cost to obtain an online report is $6.00. Please visit PoliceReports.us to purchase a report.

If you cannot locate the report you need, or are looking for an older report, call the Southlake Police Records Division at (817) 748-8359 for assistance.
