There are three main divisions within the Southlake Police Department organization. Each division is committed to providing citizens with the highest standards of excellence and professionalism in law enforcement. Police Officers work together as a team and are held to the highest level of accountability and integrity to provide outstanding services to the residents of Southlake and the businesses that operate within the City.
Criminal Investigations Division
The
Criminal Investigation Division, or CID, investigates crimes to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to file a case with the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office. The division is also tasked with providing victim assistance, securing search and arrest warrants, and maintaining property and evidence.
Professional Standards Division
The
Professional Standards Division is responsible for accreditation, community initiatives, internal affairs, records and training.
Patrol Division
The
Patrol Division is responsible for enforcing traffic laws, answering calls for service, community policing initiatives and handling animal control complaints.
