JEFFERSON COUNTY • A man robbed the Phillips 66 Midwest Petroleum store just outside Festus late Wednesday, the sheriff's office said.
The man, who was armed with a semi-automatic pistol, came into the store at 2854 Montauk Drive about 10:40 p.m. and demanded all the cash in the cash register. The clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and he left, walking east.
The robber is described as a white man, about 5-feet-10-inches tall with a medium build weighing about 180 pounds, the sheriff's office said.
He wore black pants, a black hoodie, a black ski mask, black tennis shoes with a white stripe and gloves. His age is unknown.
