Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan PC law firm named Jeffrey A. Cohen as managing shareholder.

Cohen is a founding shareholder of the Clayton-based law firm. His new position, which will be effective Jan. 1, reflects a shift in the law firm’s management platform from a three-person executive committee, of which he is now a member.

Cohen is a member of the board of governors of Westwood Country Club, where he serves as its legal adviser. He also serves as development chair of the Camp Sabra Capital Campaign.

Cohen has a law degree from the University of Tulsa and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Tulane University.
