The Department of Economic Development & Tourism maintains a variety of resources to assist brokers and developers in understanding, promoting and developing in Southlake.

  1. Broker Links:  A list of commonly used commercial real estate links.

  2. Broker / Developer Services:  An overview of services provided to owner-rep and tenant-rep brokers and commercial  developers.

  3. 2014 Traffic Counts:  A list of the most current traffic counts.
       
  4. Construction Projects:  A link to our public works page summarizing all the major construction projects underway or in the planning stages.

  5. Fee Estimator:  A spreadsheet to help estimate fees for a development project. City staff should be engaged to understand and estimate final fees.  (Contact Economic Development for an excel format of the spreadsheet.) 

  6. Mapping:  The City provides a variety of great mapping resources that may be used for researching property ownerships, exporting aerials, determining zoning, etc.

  7. Ordinances and Guidelines:  A list of all development-related ordinances and guidelines.

  8. SouthlakeSites.com:  The City contracts with Xceligent to provide an on-line portal allowing easy access or searching for commercial leases, purchases, or available land.
     
    • Land Sites Summary:  EDT also maintains a written summary of all the available land sites in the City with orientation map and broker/owner contact information.
