IRVING — The Cowboys practiced for the first time since they returned from their trip to London.

It’s their bye week and the Wednesday workout was a light, breezy affair.

Only cornerback Tyler Patmon and defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford did not participate. Crawford has a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee and did not play Sunday in the Cowboys’ victory over Jacksonville. Patmon suffered the same injury in his left knee against the Jaguars.

Quarterback Tony Romo, who authored a strong performance Sunday, was spotted on the field. Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Tuesday that Romo wasn’t expected to do much as he continues to monitor his back in wake of the two transverse process fractures he sustained Oct. 27.

Also seen was safety J.J. Wilcox. He suffered a shoulder injury Sunday and said he will play Nov. 23 against the New York Giants.
