The timeline below shows the projected schedule for completion of Phase 1 and Phase 2 of The Marq.

June 2014 Site Plan for Phase 1 Approved	Southlake City Council approved the Site Plan for Phase 1 on June 3, 2014.
Groundbreaking for Phase 1 took place on Saturday, September 27, 2014.	September 27, 2014 Phase 1 Groundbreaking
March 2015 Last Day to Order Election	In order to fund Phase 2 of The Marq, Southlake residents will be asked to vote on creating a sales tax district to fund the project, which would reallocate the City's current sales tax among three districts instead of the two districts currently in place.
Grand Opening for Phase 1 is anticipated in December 2015.	December 2015 Phase 1 Grand Opening
September 2016 Phase 2 Groundbreaking	If the sales tax district receives voter approval, groundbreaking for Phase 2 is anticipated in September 2016.
