HotShots Adds Edwardsville Location

Sports bar HotShots (multiple locations, including 12154 St. Charles Rock Road, Bridgeton; 314-291-1606) is adding a location in Edwardsville, Illinois. The local chain already has eleven restaurants in the St. Louis metro area, one in Cape Girardeau and one in Mooresville, North Carolina. The Edwardsville HotShots will be franchised by a Wentzville couple, Jim and Donna Kruger.

As first reported by the Alton Telegraph, HotShots Edwardsville will be along Illinois Route 157 near Edison's Entertainment Complex.
When the Krugers inquired about operated a franchise, HotShots CEO Dan Volmert said the company had been eyeing Edwardsville for a while. Construction began a few months ago, and the Krugers expect it will open in November or late December.
