Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winner Suzan-Lori Parks talks about "Father Comes Home From The Wars (Parts 1, 2 & 3)," at The Public Theater. It’s three plays presented in a single performance, set over the course of the Civil War, and tells the story of a slave joins his master on the Confederate battlefield in exchange for a promise of freedom. She’s joined by Sterling Brown and Jeremie Harris, two of the show’s stars.
