Awards for Education Reporting

Education Week is pleased to receive recognition from Education Writers Association for exceptional education news and opinion coverage. In the 2013 EWA national contest, our coverage of American Indian education won first place in the "Audio or Video from Non-Broadcast outlet," category and third place for "Single-Topic News or Feature from Education-only outlets." First-place prizes were awarded to opinion contributors in the categories of "Thought Piece/Opinion from Education Organizations and experts," and "Continuing Coverage of an Issue from Education Organizations and Experts."
