'Cake Boss' Buddy Valastro Told Cops, 'You Can't Arrest Me! I'm the Cake Boss!'

"Cake Boss" star Buddy Valastro appeared in court this afternoon, hours after getting arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

The reality TV star, who has not yet entered a plea, was offered a deal that would include a 90-day driver's license suspension and a $300 fine.

According to the prosecutor, Valastro told cops during his arrest, "I had a couple drinks. You can't arrest me! I'm the Cake Boss." The prosecutor also said that Valestro insisted several times, "I'm a good guy." He added: "Can you just put me in a cab? I don’t have to be arrested, I’m not a bad guy."

A rep for Valastro has yet to comment. He is due back in court on Jan. 6

Valastro, 42, was pulled over around 1 a.m. on Tenth Avenue on New York City's West Side. After failing a field sobriety test, he was arrested in his 2014 yellow Corvette early today for allegedly driving while intoxicated, ABC News has confirmed.

The reality star, who took over the family business in 1994 after the death of his father Buddy Sr., made a splash in 2009 when "Cake Boss" premiered on The Learning Channel. The show follows Valastro and his business Carlo's Bakery, located in New Jersey.

With the success of the show, Valastro has gone on to star in "Kitchen Boss" and "The Next Great Baker," both on TLC.

Valastro's last post on Instagram Wednesday showed him doing what he does best, bonding with the community he serves.

"Here In Carlos bakery Marlton and what a great reaction from the community I love this place I feel at home here @carlosbakery," he wrote.
