LAPD Cop and Alleged Serial Flasher Ryan Eric Galliher's Booking Photo is Released: Update

UPDATE, NOV. 11, 7:03 A.M.: More than two weeks after a Los Angeles police officer was arrested for allegedly flashing and cranking his junk to horrified passersby on a nature trail, the Huntington Beach Police Department has released his booking photo. But authorities have an explanation for the delay in getting Ryan Eric Galliher's mugshot before the public.
There was also a delay in revealing Galliher's name for the same reason: Surf City detectives did not want to taint the process of having potential victims come forward to pick the suspect out of a photo lineup, officials explain.
Investigators and prosecutors have now decided to release the mugshot that opened this post.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles Police Department Chief Charlie Beck has released a statement about Galliher's arrest:
It is appropriate that I reserve judgment on this matter until all of the facts have been gathered and the investigations have been completed. However, let me be very clear, I will not tolerate any behavior that reflects negatively upon this department and tarnishes our relationship with our communities near or far.
Ryan Eric Galliher Accused of Being Off-Duty LAPD Cop, On-Duty Exposer of His Junk
ORIGINAL POST, NOV. 6, 6:33 A.M.: In announcing the charges against a Los Angeles police officer accused of exposing himself to five females in the Bolsa Chica wetlands area, the Orange County District Attorney's office (OCDA) reveals one alleged victim is an 80-year-old woman and another is a 12-year-old girl who was victimized twice and was asked to touch the man.
Ryan Eric Galliher, 33, of Huntington Beach, is now scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 12 on felony charges of an attempted lewd act on a child younger than 14 and luring of a child with intent to commit a lewd act as well as five misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure and lewd conduct in a public place.
A conviction could send him to state prison for four years and require him to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, according to Deputy District Attorney Jess Rodriguez. Galliher posted $100,000 bond and is out of custody.
The Weekly previously reported on his Oct. 23 arrest after Huntington Beach Police detectives staked out a path near the wetlands at Bolsa Chica Street south of Los Patos Avenue, where they had received complaints of a flasher. Galliher was popped after cops caught him in the act of exposing and touching himself, Rodriguez told City News Service.
But further investigation revealed Galliher, who is on administrative leave from his post at the LAPD's Southwest Station, exposed himself to a 12-year-old girl in the Bolsa Chica wetlands area on Feb. 27 and asked her to touch him, claimed Rodriguez, who added the policeman is further accused of exposing himself to the same girl in the same area on March 10.
The 80-year-old woman got the unwanted show near Bolsa Chica Street on March 10 as well, a 43-year-old woman in the wetlands area was a victim on June 17, and two teen girls, ages 18 and 19 and jogging near the wetlands, were whistled at by a nude Galliher on Oct. 20, Rodriguez alleged.
