Sonia Gutierrez is Distraught, Possibly Suicidal and Missing: Have You Seen Her?
Courtesy of the Orange County Sheriff's Department Sonia Gutierrez has not been seen since driving off in her Toyota Yaris Monday afternoon.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department sought the public's help this morning in finding a missing 26-year-old San Juan Capistrano woman who reportedly told a friend she was unhappy over a breakup with her boyfriend and wanted to overdose on drugs.
Sonia Gutierrez was last seen driving away from her residence in the 31000 block of Calle La Purisima around 1:40 p.m. Monday, according to Orange County Sheriff's Lt. Jeffrey Hallock, the department spokesman.
Before that, Gutierrez had repeatedly called a friend to say she was distraught over the end of her relationship while also mentioning the desire to overdose, Hallock said.
She's described as 5-foot-4, 140 pounds, with brown eyes and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a red long sleeve sweater and blue jeans. She was driving a blue 2007 Toyota Yaris with a California license plate 5WTK064.
