  • The “Today” show kicked off its second annual No-Shave “Today.” Matt Lauer, Al RokerWillie Geist and Carson Daly will once again grow beards this month to raise awareness for men’s health issues. Last year, the show raised more than $100,000.

  • Samuel T. Suratt, the Archivist for CBS News for more than 20 years from 1969 to 1991, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in New York City. He was 81.
