On Monday, Keller police started posting when and where their daytime traffic officers are running radar in Keller and Westlake, where they have a contract to provide police services.

Keller police say a 27 percent increase in car wrecks last year showed them they needed a way to slow down speeders.

Drivers can follow the Keller Police Department on Facebook and Twitter to get information.

Drivers should beware -- other patrol officers run radar day and night, and those times and locations are not posted.
