Watch Taylor Swift Enthusiastically Dance and Lip-Sync to One of Her Own Songs in a Car

Can't get enough of 'Blank Space'? Neither can Tay-Tay

If you’re sick of watching Taylor Swift turn into a jilted, knife-wielding ex-lover in her “Blank Space” video, watch this video instead. It’s Tay-Tay rocking out to the song in a car with BBC Radio 1 DJ Greg James.

She dances, air-drums, acts, mimes and generally has the time of her life. And she obviously knows all the words since she, uh, wrote them, so her lip-syncing is pretty spot-on, too.

Alibaba Links Women’s Bra Sizes to Their Online Spending Patterns

The bigger the bust, the bigger the spending

Alibaba has a lot of consumer data at its fingertips as one of the largest e-commerce companies in the world. And just what insights is the Chinese online giant gleaning from that data? Well, Alibaba has linked women’s bra size to their online shopping habits—and it found that the bigger the cup size, the bigger the spending.

The data point no one asked for!

Alibaba vice president Joseph Tsai talked to Quartz about findings that 65% of women with a B cup fell into the “low” spending category, while those with a C cup or higher were in the “middle” and “high” demographics.

“We’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg,” he said of the company’s data-dive. “We really haven’t done even 5% of leveraging that data to really make our operations more efficient, consumers more satisfied.”

Considering that Alibaba had a whopping $9 billion in sales during Singles’ Day—the 11/11 holiday involving epic amounts of retail therapy—who knows what other bizarre spending trends it will find.

And Now, Let’s Let Tina Fey Have the Last Word on Kim Kardashian’s Body

A brief excerpt from her book 'Bossypants' feels especially relevant right now

In an apparent attempt to “break the Internet,” Kim Kardashian bared her booty on the cover of Paper magazine this week. (She also posed with a champagne glass resting on her butt, which was clearly the most impressive part of the photo shoot.)

This got a lot of people talking, gawking, reacting, declaring her butt an empty promise, etc. But it caused some to recall an excerpt from Tina Fey’s 2011 book Bossypants, in which she briefly ruminated on women’s body image. Of course, she ends with a line about Kim Kardashian:

“Now every girl is expected to have Caucasian blue eyes, full Spanish lips, a classic button nose, hairless Asian skin with a California tan, a Jamaican dance hall ass, long Swedish legs, small Japanese feet, the abs of a lesbian gym owner, the hips of a nine-year-old boy, the arms of Michelle Obama, and doll tits,” Fey wrote. “The person closest to actually achieving this look is Kim Kardashian, who, as we know, was made by Russian scientists to sabotage our athletes.”

Yup, that about sums it up. So it’s time for us to move on. Shut it down.

They met for the first time at the 10th annual Guinness World Records Day in London

At 8’9″, Sultan Kösen, from Turkey, is the tallest man in the world. At 21 and a half inches, Chandra Bahadur Dangi, from Nepal, is the shortest. Today, the two met for the first time — in London, for the 10th annual Guinness World Records Day.

And it was magical. (Or, we assume it was magical.)

Kosen is 31-years-old and works as a farmer. Dangi, meanwhile, is 74 and has a job making placemats and head straps for villagers.

“Even though he is short and I am tall, we have had similar struggles throughout our lives,” Kosen, a 31-year-old farmer, told AFP. “And when I look into Chandra’s eyes I can see he is a good man.”

Tiger Seen Roaming Streets Near Paris

It was located after a two hour search

A tiger was spotted on the loose on Thursday morning in a town just outside Paris.

Local and national police, alongside firefighters, immediately launched a major search involving helicopters and tasers in Montévrain. The tiger was found around two hours later

The wife of a supermarket owner in Montévrain was the first to see the tiger from the supermarket parking lot at 8:30am local time. She called her husband to say she thought she had seen a lynx and took a photograph, which the couple then showed to municipal authorities.

It’s not yet clear where the animal came from, although the Mayor’s Office said they ruled out the theory that it came from a circus that was based in Montévrain until last Saturday. Police said that no tiger was present during the circus health inspection.

Starbucks’ Chestnut Praline Latte Is Here

Move is good news for anyone who is now officially sick of pumpkin spice everything

Here’s some good news for anyone who is now officially sick of pumpkin spice everything: Starbucks’ latest seasonal latte flavor has hit the market and it’s not pumpkin anything.

The Chestnut Praline Latte is the coffee mega-chain’s first new “holiday handcrafted beverage” in five years and Starbucks is hoping its latest flavor creation can prove as popular and profitable as the Pumpkin Spice Latte, which has spawned a cultish following to go with his abbreviated “PSL” nickname. Starbucks described the “CPL” (too soon?) as “a blend of fresh espresso and flavors of caramelized chestnuts, with freshly steamed milk, topped with whipped cream and spiced praline crumbs.”

The Pumpkin Spice Latte has proven so popular in recent years that Starbucks actually started selling it earlier this year to die-hard fans of the drink, which is typically a stalwart of the company’s fall drinks schedule. The latte helped Starbucks’ fourth-quarter same-store sales increase by 5%, though that number fell below analysts’ expectations. And, while Starbucks has boasted about the Pumpkin Spice Latte’s overwhelming social media presence, there has also been some concern that the drink — and the pumpkin spice flavor in general — has outworn its welcome.

The Chestnut Praline Latte was in development for two years by the Starbucks Global Beverage Innovation team and now joins the likes of other Starbucks winter holiday drink flavors along with eggnog, gingerbread, and toffee nut. Starbucks sees the Chestnut Praline Latte as an opportunity to “add a new trend-forward flavor to U.S. markets,” the company said in a recent press release. The new drink was tested in a few U.S. markets last year, but is being released widely this Wednesday.

Watch this Guy Make the Longest Backwards Basketball Shot Ever

Harlem Globetrotter Thunder Law made the shot with his back to the rim from 82 feet away

Corey “Thunder” Law was so far downtown when he made this shot that he could’ve hailed a cab. And he wasn’t even looking.

The Harlem Globetrotters star set his second world record in a Youtube video posted on Wednesday for the longest-ever backwards basketball shot.

The clip[, shot at the Phoenix Suns’ arena, shows Law standing a few feet inside the opposite baseline with his back to the rim. He then bends his knees, let’s fly, and … nothing but net.

Law, who also holds the longest-ever shot record for his 109-foot, 9-inch floater from the stands last year, shot his backwards attempt from 82 feet, 2 inches away.
