2015 Spring Conferences

SPJ’s Spring Conferences are day-long professional development meetings bringing area journalists, students and journalism educators together in one place to hear from industry experts on topics ranging from improving writing to leveraging technology in today’s new media climate. Networking opportunities at the conferences allow participants to build relationships that can lead to the sharing of the best practices in newsrooms. Enhance yourself and your journalism career by attending a Spring Conference in your area.

For Planners: Help from HQ

Headquarters offers a grant, not to exceed $500, to cover costs associated with each conference. In order to receive the money, the planning committee must submit receipts for expenses after the conference. The receipts should be submitted via email to Heather Dunn. PDF files or jpg images of receipts will be accepted. Along with the receipts, please include a cover sheet that itemizes the submitted receipts and lists to whom the check should be made payable and where it should be sent. Receipts must be submitted by July 31.
