During peak travel times, Japanese-built trains would depart every 30 minutes traveling at speeds of nearly 200 mph. In off-peak times, the trains would leave every hour. The roughly 240-mile journey would take about 90 minutes.

DART will launch service to D/FW Airport 4 months early on Aug. 18
