Utica Shale Region

Access Midstream’s Utica operations include wet gas, dry gas, gas processing, natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionation and are split into two systems:

Utica Gathering System:
  • Cardinal Gas Services (CGS) provides gathering, compression and dehydration services for the oil and wet gas found within our 1.5 million acre dedication. CGS’ gathering system services more than 283 miles of in-service pipeline with an average throughput of 418 million cubic feet per day (Mmcf/d). Access has two partners in this endeavor – TOTAL and EnerVest.
  • Utica Gas Services (UGS) provides gathering, compression and dehydration services for two gas gathering systems in a primarily dry gas window with 140,000 dedicated acres. This asset is 100% owned and operated by Access Midstream.

Utica East Ohio Processing

Along with partners M3 and EnerVest, Access is constructing a large scale processing, fractionation and natural gas liquid (NGL) storage facility in the Utica’s wet gas window. M3 will operate the facility once complete.
