Scott Johnson joined Access Midstream in January 2014 as Vice President – Compression and President of Access Compression, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Access Midstream Partners, L.P. In this role, he oversees the compression assets owned by the Partnership and manages the compression services division. Prior to joining Access Compression, Mr. Johnson served as Vice President - Operations at MidCon Compression, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chesapeake Energy, where he was responsible for company operations in the Marcellus, Utica, Niobrara and Mid-Continent areas. In his 18 years in the natural gas compression industry, Mr. Johnson also served as a Business Unit Director at Exterran Partners, L.P. and held various management and sales positions at Exterran’s predecessor companies Hanover and Production Operators, Inc. Mr. Johnson earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
