The University Interscholastic League exists to provide educational extracurricular academic, athletic, and music contests. The UIL was created by The University of Texas at Austin in 1910 and has grown into the largest inter-school organization of its kind in the world.

2015 State Wind Ensemble Festival Clinicians
The 2015 State Wind Ensemble Festival clinicians have been announced.
Team Tennis State Tournament Postponed
Due to incoming inclement weather, the 2014 UIL Team Tennis State Tournament has been postponed. The Team Tennis State Tournament will be played Thursday and Friday, November 6-7 at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center on the Texas A&M University campus.
University Interscholastic League Joins the NFHS Network
The University Interscholastic League will partner with the NFHS Network to deliver additional post-season coverage of Texas high school sports to fans.
State Marching Band Championships
The 2014 State Marching Band Champioships will be held November 3 & 4 in San Antonio at the Alamodome.

Tickets for the 2014 UIL Football State Championships being played at AT&T Stadium are available for purchase. Tickets may be purchased online through ticketmaster.com.
