Freestyle Language Center hosts Fall Events

Freestyle Language Center recognizes the importance of spontaneous conversation to language learning and fluency, and provide relevant, fun, social contexts in which to learn Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian. Clayworks Celebrates 35 Years!

Clayworks Studio/Gallery is celebrating their 35th Anniversary on November 23rd, 6 to 9 pm. For the past 35 years Clayworks' tiles, sconces and custom architectural detailing have been showing up all over Austin. The Studio will mark the anniversary by taking a look back with a special gallery exhibit gathering together the relics, photos, articles and test tiles compiled over the decades. Owners Chris and John Gray will also introduce a new direction for the future, showing off the recently completed remodeling and landscaping which transforms the galleries and garden into an ideal events venue while reserving the studio space for production and firing. • Clayworks Studio/Gallery has been practicing the art and craft of architectural ceramics for over 30 years. Their showroom, located in the East Sixth IBIZ District, is stocked with handmade sconces, decorative tile, garden art, murals, and more.

Adam Scott Rote at Art on 5th

Art on 5th Gallery will be featuring the art of Adam Scott Rote in a series of special events. Adam Scott Rote is an award winning hyper-realist painter who uses acrylic paint, gouache, airbrush and watercolor pencils in unison to create unique representations of classic Hollywood stars and legends as well as a new and exciting Alice In Wonderland series making its debut at ART on 5th. This is a rare opportunity to meet Adam in person and view the stunning collection. Adam will be painting live at ART on 5th on Wednesday, November 12th and Thursday, November 13th from 10am to 6pm - a rare experience to watch Adam at work.
