Docent Program

The Whitney’s volunteer docents welcome and engage visitors by giving free daily public tours. If you would like to be considered for future docent training sessions, please send your contact information to docentprogram@whitney.org.

Community Affairs Manager

The community affairs manager will cultivate and maintain relationships with key community partners (residents, business owners, organizations, governmental agencies) in the Meatpacking District and beyond.

Associate Registrar

Reporting to the exhibitions manager, the associate registrar will have direct responsibility for managing and coordinating crating, packing, transportation, couriers, insurance, and condition reports for international and domestic loan exhibitions.  

GRAPHIC DESIGNER
ten-month position

A temporary, full-time position is available in the graphic design department for a graphic designer. The graphic design department is responsible for creative direction, design, and production management for all of the Museum’s public-facing printed and electronic communications.

Research Resources Assistant

The full-time research resources assistant will provide reference assistance to Museum staff and patrons, and is the first contact a researcher has with The Frances Mulhall Achilles Library, the Archives, Special Collections, and Permanent Collection Documentation.
