Taylor Swift to Perform on CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade Broadcast
By Kevin Rutherford
It’s about to be a very Taylor Thanksgiving.
Taylor Swift will appear on the CBS broadcast of the Thanksgiving Day Parade from New York City later this month, Nov. 27. A press release promises more than just one performance from Swift, though it’s unclear how many it will entail at the moment.
Entertainment Tonight co-host Kevin Frazier and The Insider co-host Thea Andrews will man the anchor desk for the broadcast, which will begin at 9 a.m. ET and will go until noon.

Other performances during the broadcast on CBS will include renditions of songs from the Broadway musicals Matilda and Pippin. As usual, the broadcast will also feature the many colorful balloons and floats for which the parade has been known since its inception.
The parade performances will cap off a fairly eventful November for Swift. After releasing new album 1989 at the end of October, Swift has been all over the news, releasing new music videos and becoming the welcome ambassador for the city of New York. 1989 eventually became the first album to sell over 1 million copies in its first week since her last album, 2012′s Red.
