Lazy Dog is a Key West, Florida based company located at the Hurricane Hole Marina. Our dynamic work environment nurtures our adventurous nature and promotes the philosophy that our degree of success is measured only by the amount of fun we have achieving it. Lazy Dog is bound together by a belief in having fun in all that we do.
We at Lazy Dog love the water and want everyone to get out and enjoy the beautiful blue waters of Key West. We have the largest rental fleet of kayaks and stand up paddleboards (known as SUP) on the island. We offer kayak eco tours with our 2 hour tour and also a 4 hour kayak and backcountry snorkel. We also offer kayak rentals where we will give you a map and suggested areas to explore. Paddleboarding is the latest hobby for us Lazy Dogs and it’s one of the fastest growing watersports. We have paddleboard tours, rentals, lessons and sales.
In addition to our kayak and paddleboards we have an entire line of Lazy Dog Merhcandise. Our Lazy Dog brand was conceived out of affection for a single faithful pet named Camillo. Today the brand is carried on by Lazy Dogs Casey, Bonny and Tucker. Come by the Lazy Dog shack and you will see these dogs at work. We are lucky to have a great crew at Lazy Dog who never leave. Most of the Lazy Dog crew have been with us for over 8 years, and a few for 12 years. We work hard together and play hard together. SUP SPECIAL OLYMPICS INVITATIONAL October 12, 2014 at Higgs Beach. The Lazy Dog crew is helping host the 2nd annual SUP Special Olympics Inviationanal. There will be 100 athletes competing in Stand Up Padding races. There will also be a general public race at 12:30, a short 2 mile course with obstacle course. Events starts at 8:30am Sunday.
