The President’s Trip to China, Burma and Australia
November 10-16, 2014
On his sixth trip to Asia as President, and second trip to the region in 2014 alone, President Obama travels to Beijing, China for the APEC Leaders Meeting and a bilateral state visit with President Xi; to Nay Pyi Taw and Rangoon, Burma for the East Asia Summit and U.S.-ASEAN Summit as well as a bilateral visit; and to Brisbane, Australia for the G20. The trip will underscore the President’s deep commitment to his Asia rebalancing strategy and firm belief that America's trade and investment ties to Asia are critical to our future economic growth and to generating American jobs.
