Couldn’t have enjoyed this election more. Enjoyed the overwhelming defeat of the anti gun, baby killing, pro homosexual pervert, anti bill of rights, tax gouging, job killing marxist lying democrat party. Contrary to your propagandist I do know what kind of governor Abbott will be and that is why I voted for him. Abbott and Patrick will be absolutely outstanding leaders for this state. As for battleground Texas, I read many articles about how they completely alienated Democrats by appearing to them as unwashed dope smoking marxist radical San Fransicko hippies who hate everything than Texans cherish. They voted republican. You whine about voter ID suppressing the vote. That is a democrat lie, voter ID suppresses fraud which you evidently support. What is the old joke – I voted Republican all my life until i died. Now that I am dead I vote Democrat.

In this episode of Observer Radio, our staff discusses the big Republican victory and what it means for the upcoming legislative session.

Also, Observer editor Dave Mann argues that the abortion filibuster that catapulted Davis to stardom may have forced Texas Democrats to adopt a risky strategy that contributed to a complete blow-up on election night.
