State Rep. Reynolds cruises to re-election while on trial for barratry

The day after state Rep. Ron Reynolds cruised to re-election, he was not fielding congratulatory calls or shaking the hands of supporters. Instead he spent Wednesday in a Montgomery County courtroom at the start of his trial on a felony charge of barratry - the Texas law prohibiting lawyers from soliciting clients that is sometimes called "ambulance chasing."
