“I Stand Sunday” on Nov. 2

Stand with Houston Pastors on Nov. 2 for “I Stand Sunday”

The right of churches to freely speak the truth is under threat in Houston. The government has no business monitoring sermons or prying into the private communication between a pastor and his congregation. The Constitution secures the freedom of the church to freely proclaim the truth. We can’t sit idly by and allow intimidation like this to stand. That’s why Texas Values is proud to be a partner in a special nationwide simulcast from Houston on Sunday, November 2nd at 6:00 PM (CST). Live from Grace Community Church in Houston — one of the affected churches — “I Stand Sunday” will focus on what’s happening in Houston, as well as other threats to religious freedom around the country. Our aim will be to show how Christians nationwide can stand together in love and unity for America’s First Freedom of religious liberty.

Some of the featured speakers will include Gov. Mike Huckabee, Phil Robertson from Duck Dynasty, FRC President Tony Perkins, Dr. Ed Young of Second Baptist Church, Fox News’ Todd Starnes, and many others. Please join us and bring this to the attention of the your church leadership,

Urge Your Elected Officials to Publicly Stand for Marriage

In light of the U.S. Supreme Court's recent decision that allows lower court rulings to overturn the marriage laws in several states, including Oklahoma, it is time for the elected leaders of Texas to publicly and boldly stand for the protection of our state's marriage laws. Ask your Texas elected officials to publicly support Texas' marriage laws and renounce efforts of the Federal Judiciary and Executive Branch to redefine marriage in Texas.
