Giants expect RB Rashad Jennings to play Sunday
While running back Rashad Jennings was limited in practice Wednesday, the Giants indicated Jennings should play Sunday, barring any unforeseen setbacks, reports the New York Daily News.
"He will give our team an outstanding lift," coach Tom Coughlin said, per the Daily News. "I think we will progress throughout the course of this week and, hopefully, without a setback, now he will be ready to go."
Jennings has missed the last four games with a sprained MCL in his left knee, but he has been optimistic with the progress he's making from the injury.
"I'm definitely encouraged,” Jennings said, per the Daily News . "Every day it's been getting better. Every single day I'm getting back to being me. I'm just taking it day-by-day. I'm feeling good."
