Coughlin: Rashad Jennings to 'share the load' Sunday
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(1:40 am ET) Giants coach Tom Coughlin indicated that while running back Rashad Jennings is expected to return to action Sunday against the 49ers, he won't be utilized fully in his first game back from an MCL injury, the New York Post reports.

"Well, I don’t intend that he would take a full, full load," Coughlin said. "He and Andre [Williams] will no doubt share the load. I think, after having worked the way he has for a couple of weeks, if we can get to the game and be in the same shape we’re in right now, that he’ll be able to work."

Jennings averaged more than 20 carries over his first four games before suffering the injury, but it appears he could fall short of that workload Sunday. He's averaged 4.4 yards per carry while Williams has struggled over the last four games with Jennings on the sidelines.

Dolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis hits both field goals
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(12:22 am ET) Dolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis hit both field goal attempts Thursday against the Bills.

Sturgis managed to hit from 32 yards and 38 yards during the contest. He also nailed two extra points. Other than that, it was a quiet night for Sturgis. He'll take on the Broncos Week 12.

Dolphins backup pass catchers do little Thursday
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(12:19 am ET) The Dolphins backup pass catchers did little Thursday against the Bills.

Running back Damien Williams hauled in two passes, gaining 38 yards. Tight end Charles Clay managed five catches, but only gained 31 yards during the contest. Brandon Gibson had a mostly quiet game, finishing with just 13 yards, but one of his catches was a 7 yard touchdown. Dion Sims also caught two passes for 11 yards.

They'll take on the Broncos Week 12.

Dolphins WR Mike Wallace held in check Thursday
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(12:16 am ET) Dolphins wideout Mike Wallace was held in check Thursday against the Bills.

Wallace was targeted a team-high sevent times, and wound up with four catches for 38 yards. Though his performance was less than optimal, Wallace did finish third on the team in receiving during the contest. He'll look for more Week 12 against the Broncos.

Bills K Dan Carpenter hits three field goals in loss vs. Dolphins
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12:08 am ET) Bills kicker Dan Carpenter made three of his four field-goal attempts in his team's 22-9 loss to the Dolphins Saturday.

Carpenter managed to connect on field goals of 33, 21 and 46 yards to put his team out to a 9-3 lead early in the third quarter, but the game got away from the Bills at that point, with the Dolphins scoring 19 unanswered points on two touchdowns, a field goal and a safety. Carpenter's miss came on a 47-yard attempt early in the fourth quarter that sailed wide left. His next matchup comes against the Jets in Week 12.

Bills WR Sammy Watkins stays quiet in loss vs. Dolphins
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12:03 am ET) Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins caught three of his seven targets for just 32 yards and no touchdowns in his team's 22-9 loss to the Dolphins Thursday.

Watkins saw a lot of cornerback Brent Grimes in the game and couldn't manage to connect for any big plays on a night where quarterback Kyle Orton dealt with accuracy issues and mix-ups on several routes. Watkins, who entered the game with a probable designation due to a groin injury, added a three-yard rush as well. He's managed just seven catches and 59 yards on 17 targets over his last two games. Watkins will try and take advantage of a middling Jets secondary in Week 12.

Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry finds the end zone Thursday
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(12:01 am ET) Dolphins wideout Jarvis Landry found the end zone Thursday against the Bills.

Landry led the team with five catches. He caught every pass thrown his way during the contest. Landry finished second on the club with 46 yards. Landry waited until the fourth quarter before he scored. With 11:35 left in the quarter, he hauled in an 8 yard pass from Ryan Tannehill, giving his team a 10 point lead.

He'll take on the Broncos Week 12.

Report: Bills QB Kyle Orton suffers toe injury Thursday
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(11/13/2014) Bills quarterback Kyle Orton suffered a toe injury in his team's 22-9 loss to the Dolphins Thursday, ESPN.com reports.

Orton averaged just 4.9 yards per carry in the loss and consistently had trouble hitting his receivers in stride, oftentimes throwing the ball to a spot completely different from the route his receiver ran. There's no word as to the severity of the injury, but he'll have a few extra days to heal up before facing the Jets in Week 12.

Bills WR Chris Hogan leads team with 74 yards vs. Dolphins
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(11/13/2014) Bills wide receiver Chris Hogan caught seven of his nine targets for a team-high 74 yards in Buffalo's 22-9 loss in Miami Thursday.

Hogan is a former Dolphins castoff and he made them pay early, with his first three catches all converting third-down opportunities and extending scoring drives. Unfortunately, the Bills' offense couldn't get antyhing going downfield, with the team's longest play going for just 19 yards. Hogan's reception and yardage totals were both season highs, and he'll look to build on the performance in Week 12 against the Jets.

Dolphins WR Brian Hartline leads the way Thursday
by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(11/13/2014) Dolphins wideout Brian Hartline led the team in receiving Thursday against the Bills.

Hartline caught just three passes, but managed to gain a team-high 55 yards. Most of his yardage came on a 31 yard reception in the third quarter. Hartline was targeted four times, which was the fourth-highest on the team. Hartline will look for more Week 12 against the Broncos.
