What’s new?

> EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy and Mayor Vincent Gray visit to bring attention to Children’s Health Month.

> President and Mrs. Obama joined us on our Kaboom! playground Build Day.

> Students, teachers, parents, and staff from the Inspired Teaching Demonstration Public Charter School were proud to march in the 39th Annual Capital Pride Parade.

Visit from EPA Administrator McCarthy and Mayor Gray

EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy and DC Mayor Vincent Gray visited us to recognize Children’s Health Month and highlight actions we can all take to educate and protect children from environmental health risks. Our 2nd graders shared with them their recent butterfly study.
