Clippers' Blake Griffin charged with misdemeanor battery
Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin has been charged with misdemeanor battery related to an incident at a Las Vegas nightclub, as first reported by TMZ. From the Los Angeles Times' Ben Bolch:
Clark County D.A.'s office confirms Blake Griffin has been charged with one count of misdemeanor battery related to nightclub incident.

Blake Griffin's first court date is scheduled for Dec. 8 at the Regional Justice Center in Las Vegas. TMZ first to report battery charge.

A Nevada misdemeanor battery crime with no substantial bodily harm can carry six months of jail and/or a $1,000 fine or community service.

The Clippers have no comment, according to Bolch, and they don't really have to say anything before the court date. TMZ reported that, according to the alleged victim, Griffin was "upset by camera flashes in his face."
