Sendero Wealth Management hires new research director

Investment advisory firm Sendero Wealth Management has named Amaury de Barros Conti as their new director of research and strategy.

Conti joined Sendero in 2012 as a portfolio manager and has more than 18 years of experience in consulting and investments. Prior to joining Sendero, he was a consulting analyst at The Trust Company in San Antonio and before that he was a head trader for Austin Calvert & Flavin. Amaury began his career in 1996 with U.S. Global Investors.

Conti will lead the research team in identifying investment opportunities and help steer overall strategy for the firm.

Sendero is a privately owned firm with offices in San Antonio and Dallas. It was ranked second in the San Antonio Business Journal's Top 25 List of Largest San Antonio Money Management Firms for 2014.

Mike W. Thomas covers technology/telecom, military, finance, regulatory issues as well as nonprofits/education.
