Want to buy a limited edition, $200 sterling silver Starbucks card online this holiday season? Too bad, they're all sold out.
Starbucks Corp. (SBUX) said the gift card, made with premium 925 sterling silver and engraved with the Starbucks logo, is already sold out online. The gift cards are loaded with $50 and Starbucks said it now is "only available in limited quantities at select Starbucks stores."
Starbucks (NASDAQ: SBUX) also said it's taking a "radically different approach" to the 2014 holiday season, including offering 100 different types of holiday gift cards that can be purchased.
"We've completely reimagined the holiday experience in our stores, while staying true to some of our time-honored traditions," Sharon Rothstein, chief marketing officer at Starbucks, said in a prepared statement.
Starbucks operates dozens of stores across metro Phoenix.
