GSN Games, the game development arm of the Game Show Network, is moving its local office from Waltham to Boston beginning Friday.
The company, whose owner is based in Santa Monica, Calif., will be moving into a 37,800-square-foot office at 100 Summer St. in Boston's Financial District.
GSN Games currently employs 130 in Boston, and the new space can accommodate up to 240 employees. Currently, the company is hiring 10 employees at its Boston office.
GSN Games powers the GSN Casino mobile app, gaming website GSN.com, and earlier this year it acquired Bash Gaming for an estimated $160 million to $170 million.
"GSN Games' relocation to Boston is a critical step to take our business to the next level," said Christian Meyer, senior vice president and general manager at GSN.com, in a statement. "As Boston emerges as a hub of innovation, the move signals our focus on attracting top talent and building strong teams to continue our rapid growth trajectory. We're excited to join Boston's thriving technology community and elevate Boston as a major player in the game industry."
Founded in 1999, the company has a total of 400 employees in nine offices worldwide.
